Transition Coaching
Whereas Executive Coaching is typically geared toward people who are focused on advancing their career or being more effective in their current role, Transition Coaching is more focused on helping plan major role transitions.
The three most common transition scenarios are:
- Preparing the leader for a new role or position they do not yet have.
- Supporting the leader as they adjust to a role they've recently moved into or a role that has substantially changed.
- Planning for the leader's departure from the organization, crafting their legacy, and planning for the next phase of their life.

Triage Coaching
Triage coaching is used when a leader is struggling to meet the demands of their current role. It is important to distinguish Triage Coaching from the traditional HR function of performance management or disciplinary action. Whereas those functions tend to have a formal and often punitive tone, Triage Coaching is motivational and uplifting for the leader.
